How do I list my property? Return To Top
Simply register by clicking on 'list here' on the main page. Once you have an account setup, a password will allow only you to edit your listing in the future. If you have already setup an account with any of our networked sites in the past, click on 'Member Login'   on the main page and enter your username and password. You will then be given the necessary tools to add a new listing.

I am a property manager. How do I list my properties? Return To Top
Simply register online by clicking on ‘list here’ on the main page. Click on the ‘Property Managers and Property Management Companies’ link or you can also contact us by phone or email to setup a volume discount. Click here for contact information.

How much is it to list my property? Return To Top
The price is $24.95 + applicable taxes per listing per month or $49.95 + applicable taxes per month for an entire Apartment building/Complex. There are significant discounts for bulk listings and frequent pricing specials. Please see the price list for further information

How long is my property listed for? Return To Top
Your property will be listed for one calendar month (or the amount of time you have chosen if longer). You have the ability to de-list your property at anytime.

How do I add photos to my listing? Return To Top
Login with your user name and password and click on 'photos' on the menu. Then simply browse your hard drive for the file you wish to upload. Our site will only display .gif or .jpg formats. Photos can be added to your listing for free to enhance your listings and give it higher placement in the search results.

How do I check my listing stats? Return To Top
Login to your account and select an option under the 'stats' sub-menu. Select which timeframe you wish to view the stats for.

How do I check the status of my listing? Return To Top
Login to your account and select 'view' on the left hand menu. If there is a listing there, you can see how the listing will appear live on the website. If the listing is live the status will be "active".

Help! I can't remember my username and password. Return To Top
If you signed up with a valid email address, then click here to retrieve your username and password. If you do not have an email address simply contact us to retrieve your information.

I have never used this site before and it says i have a duplicate account. Why? Return To Top
If you have listed with any of our networked sites previously you are already in the database. Contact us to retrieve you username and password.

How do I change my personal information? Return To Top
To change your personal information, click 'your details' on the top of the management menu. You can modify your password and update your email address here. For all other modifications, please contact us and we will make the necessary modifications. If you are simply changing your contact information for this listing, you may do so by selecting 'display contact' feature while modifying your listing.

How do I edit my listing once it's online? Return To Top
Login and click 'modify' to edit your listing.

Who will see my listing? Return To Top
You will receive an audience from the user-base of the www.offcampushousing101.com website and the www.myidealhome.com network.

How do I pay for my listing? Return To Top
The quickest and easiest way to pay for your listing is through e-commerce on the website. This method is safe and instintaneous. If you do not have a credit card you may also mail us a check.

Yes. Searching the BCAOMA Rental Housing website is always FREE to search.

Where can I find the newest listings? Return To Top
Select 'newest listings' on the top menu bar. These are the listings that have been placed in the last 48 hours.

How do I search? Return To Top
Begin your search by clicking on ‘all listings’ on the top menu bar and following the steps.

Can I refine my search? Return To Top
Yes you can. To refine your search click 'refine search' on the top or bottom menu bar of the search results list to narrow down your results.

Under 'refine search' you can:

1. Narrow your geographical search down even further to sub areas.

2. Re-specify housing style.

3. Specify your specific price range.

4. Specify your minimum number of bedrooms.

5. Specify your special requirements, such as disability access, fireplace, close to schools and transit...


Can I print a feature sheet of a listing? Return To Top
Yes, you can. Once you find your desired property, click on the 'more details' button. This will give you a full description of this property. Click on 'print feature sheet' button on the tool bar at the bottom of this page for a feature sheet of this property. The feature sheet is handy for landlords and Property Managers to use for potential tenants.

Can I send a listing to a friend? Return To Top
Yes you can. Once you find your desired property, click on the 'more details' button. This will give you a full description of this property. Click on 'send to friend' button on the tool bar at the bottom of this page or in the contact box. This property will be emailed to your friend.
